The Philippine Embassy in Lebanon, in collaboration with the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) successfully conducted a one-stop-shop of government services on 11 February 2024, in Broumana, Lebanon.

The outreach event, aimed at providing an orientation on the programs and other essential consular services offered to Filipino citizens residing in Lebanon, witnessed an overwhelming response from the Filipino Community. With a focus on offering comprehensive assistance, the Embassy prioritized services such as overseas voting registration, recognizing the imminent deadline set for 30 September 2024 in preparation for the 2025 Philippine national elections.
The Embassy’s commitment to ensuring the active participation of overseas Filipinos in the election process was reflected in the seamless facilitation of voter registration during the outreach activity. The event provided a convenient platform for Filipino nationals, who live outside the greater Beirut area, to fulfill their civic duty by registering for overseas voting, thereby ensuring their participation with the democratic process of our homeland.
