KAFA is a Lebanese civil, non-governmental, non-profit organization providing social, legal, and psychological support to women, especially migrant workers, who have been victims of different forms of violence. Since 2018, the Embassy and KAFA have been working with a common purpose of eliminating different forms of exploitation and violence against women migrants. KAFA has continuously supported the Embassy in providing shelter and legal assistance to Filipino migrant workers who were victims of violence in Lebanon.

During the Embassy’s transfer to a new location in Baabda, some bed units were also handed earlier to MWO Lebanon for the use of Filipino wards as they seek to expand shelter capacity.

The Philippine Embassy remains committed to strengthen its network of coordination among stakeholders which are vital to fill institutional gaps in addressing key issues faced by migrant workers in Lebanon. END
