H.E. Raymond R. Balatbat, Philippine Ambassador to Lebanon, presented a commemorative plaque to the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants (MFAE) during his courtesy call with Director General for Political & Consular Affairs Ghady El-Khoury on 10 March 2022. The Philippine Embassy commissioned this token to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of the Philippines and the Lebanese Republic, unveiled by His Excellency on 31 December 2021.

During the courtesy call, Ambassador Balatbat and Director General El Khoury took the opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest including the upcoming programs of the Embassy and the Lebanese Republic.

Director General El-Khoury committed to strengthening diplomatic relations between both countries by revisiting a number of pending agreements between both countries. Third Secretaries and Vice Consuls Miko Cabatingan and Glaiza Quarteros joined the Ambassador’s call together with Counselor Ali Karanouh of the MFAE’s Asia Pacific Desk.  END.
