12 June 2021 -  Officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon (Beirut PE) celebrated the 123rd Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence in a simple ceremony held within the Embassy grounds.  The playing of videotaped messages of President Rodrigo Duterte, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Teodoro Locsin, Jr. and Secretary of Labor Silvestre Bello III, as well as a brief speech delivered by newly arrived Ambassador Raymond Reyes Balatbat, were the highlights of the event.

A simple cake cutting ceremony to mark the occasion was later held inside the Chancery. END
