He also gave a short description of the film “Door to Door” and its relevance to the NDRP celebration.

The warmhearted comedy/drama “Door to Door” is a film based on the true story of Bill Porter, a door-to-door sales man who suffers from cerebral palsy. Bill’s story challenges us to look beyond other people’s disabilities and appreciate the extraordinary efforts they make in trying to live their own lives as normally as possible. It also encourages us to remain ever conscious of how we can help and empower our disabled ‘kababayans’ in our own way.

The film made a strong impression on the viewers, with many of them avidly discussing its highlights and is seen emotionally touch during and after the movie.END
